Welcome to MAD Movies new Indiana Jones and the Crystal Cave website. Over the next several months we will be working on a new version of our Indiana Jones fan film. This is our most ambitious project to date. We have big plans for this production. Some of our plans include, shooting in several locations in Central Florida, Green Screen special effects, real alligators and even underwater shots (If we can pull off making our own waterproof camera enclosure). We will be keeping a production diary and photos on our “Behind the scenes” web page so check back from time to time to follow our progress. We also plan to get a teaser trailer posted as we head into post production later this summer. As of right now the plan is to have an entire kid cast. Everyone in the film will be elementary school aged children. Thomas Strater will reprise his role as Indiana Jones and we may even get our original villain Thomas Hagerty to do a cameo when his family visits Orlando in June for their Disney Vacation. This is a very exciting endeavor for everyone involved and we hope we can live up to a high standard worthy of the Indiana Jones character

The Legend of the Crystal Cave

Great Mystery surrounds the ancient Crystal. It once helped ancient civilizations thrive by controlling the weather. Crops flourished by summoning great rains with the crystal. The ancient people grew greedy and summoned the crystals powers for an evil purpose. The Crystal indeed worked as they had planned. A storm, like no other they had known, grew in the skies and covered all of the land. Then it passed. Nothing was left. The Crystal was not lost forever. It was found again by a Spanish explorer. He too discovered the Crystals great power. When others discovered what he had found, it became a sought after treasure. Pirates stole it and planned to use it as a weapon. The Crystal again destroyed all who misused its power. It‘s whereabouts were unknown. Legend has it that a lone Pirate named Grothar hid the magical gem in a cave, The Crystal Cave
