Welcome to Airtime

Welcome to Airtime Video. My name is Jimmy Strater. I hope you have some fun on this website. Most of what you will see is MAD Movies. MAD movies stands for "Me and Dad", movies made by me and my kids. These are the projects that inspired this web site. Most of the little films in our showcase are Fan Films. Fan Films are our versions of our favorite movie characters acted out by my kids. If you like what you see here, go ahead and forward this site to your friends, if you hate it, let me know and we will try harder, my kids and I would love to hear from you.

SCUBA Diving EPCOT

We are very lucky to live right at Walt Disney World and I have a great job in education at “The Seas”. Thomas and I get to go SCUBA diving on a somewhat regular basis. We love to dive in The Atlantic just off West Palm Florida but diving at the Seas at Epcot doesn't get old either. The Seas is a 5.7 million gallon Aquarium with Over 65 species of fish, Four Sea Turtles, Seven Sharks and many Rays. If you are Dive certified I highly recommend it If you are visiting Disney. For More information check out the Disney tours website.

Science Fair Project

Thomas and I trained our dog Remy to match objects. We got the idea from a combination of the March 2008 issue of National Geographic (Inside Animals Minds) and a similar research project that my coworkers at Disney do with dolphins. The dolphins can do the same kind of thing with their eyes covered and using echo location. Thomas got third place at the 6th grade school science fair. We are going to continue the research in hopes that we can train Remy to retrieve objects he has never seen before after looking briefly at a picture on a computer screen. I could be a real break through for training service dogs. Check out the video below.
